We work in small quantities with skilled artisans rather than large factories. Natural fabrics and handcrafted processes require more time and attention, but they create pieces that last longer and feel more personal. Our pricing reflects the true value of craftsmanship, fair work, and thoughtful production.

What fabrics do you use?

We primarily work with natural fabrics, especially cotton and cotton-linen blends. These fabrics are breathable, comfortable in warmer climates, and gentle on the skin. Unlike synthetic materials, natural fibres allow garments to move naturally and age gracefully with wear. We choose fabrics that feel good to wear and align with our belief in creating clothing that is mindful of both people and the environment.

URNAM designs are created slowly and intentionally. Many details are finished by hand, and our silhouettes are designed to be versatile for travel, work, and everyday moments. Because we produce in limited quantities, each piece carries a sense of individuality rather than mass production. Made from cotton-linen fabric, this ensemble pairs a considered embroidered shirt with a flared bias-cut skirt. The shirt features a concealed placket with hand-embroidered French knots tracing the collar and sleeves, complemented by ruched sleeve detailing and Kantha running-stitch embroidery across the front, rooted in the craft traditions of West Bengal. The coordinating skirt features a side zip opening and a hand-scalloped hem, with the bottom detailed in a Jaal cutwork motif created entirely by hand for a delicate crafted finish.
